Download from a Multi-Valued Colleague Field to MS Excel
You may download any multi-valued Colleague field to Excel.
When you click into a multi-valued field, a navigation bar pop-up opens directly above the field. This bar is how you can arrow through the multiple values.
On that same pop-up bar there is an icon for Excel:
Click on that green Excel icon.
A pop-up box opens & you can select “Open with: Microsoft Excel”.
Excel will automatically open with the values from your multi-valued field already populated. If there are multiple elements within that multi-valued field (i.e. a code & an associated date) they will all populate in separate columns.
If you wish to then manipulate the Excel spreadsheet, click the “Enable Editing” button in the Protected View bar towards the top of your sheet.
To return to Colleague, you may now close the extra browser window that opened at the beginning of the export. Click Close Window:
Once you’re back in Colleague, click OK on the “Table content export complete” pop-up box.
