Protecting Confidential Data
In the coming weeks, ITS will be reaching out to
departments across the College to review their
processes regarding access to confidential data.
We will be looking at (1) who has access to this
data and what kind of access (view only / edit /
delete), (2) training for staff with access to confidential data, (3) sharing and storing (electronic / paper)
confidential data.
In addition, we will be running scans on individual workstations and drives and reviewing next steps based on the scan results.
